O interesse pela emoção e pela comunicação não verbal de humanos e animais corre como um fio comum através do meu trabalho.
Meu objetivo:
Capturar alguns dos mistérios da vida na tela, capturando e comunicando claramente uma energia, emoção ou movimento específicos. Faço um esboço rápido de interações do dia a dia que me fazem sorrir. Quando chega a hora, o verdadeiro trabalho começa: a busca por uma composição e cores cativantes.
As emoções são efêmeras e coloram nossas vidas.
Pinto com um toque solto e uso uma paleta de cores quentes e brilhantes. As áreas de cor são quebradas ou acentuadas por linhas retas. As linhas servem para enfatizar limites, força e atitude. Omito detalhes que distraem da ideia pretendida.
Dessa forma, busco uma imagem alegremente abstraída de situações cotidianas.
